David Byrne’s Self Interview that Stops Making Sense, but the John Folsom Prints are Stunning

This David Byrne video was sent to me by my good friend Johnny Folsom.  My favorite line in the Byrne video  is “The better the singers voice the harder it is to believe what they are saying”  because that is why I chose to sing so poorly.

However, the real John Folsom is showing his photography in Charleston, SC at the The Gibbes Museum from January 22nd – April 18th 2010. Please make a special trip to see the prints if you are struggling to understand what place photography can find in the digital art world.

And … Can we all please agree that David Byrne is one of out creative treasures? I could spend one minute in his mind and leave feeling refreshed creatively. Anyone else?
