While I’ll continue to insist that Ben Stein’s greatest life role was as the Economics Teacher in Farris Bueller’s Day Off and sufficiently removed from his political views, he has some good advice that will ring true, and not just for recent college grads.

Not really sure what to make of this post, Bruce. I am a Stein fan… regardless of his politics. Maybe because of them.
Is that important? To the article I mean?
I know what you mean, though, I have to distance myself from the politics of Matt Damon and Danny Glover when watching their movies, but rarely mention it in passing.
Stein’s words, as many of his essays are, hit right on.

Mentioning that he has political leanings only becomes important when I include his video on my blog. I don’t endorse his politics but I really love this short video and his advice in it.
