I was a young punk kid with high aspirations of one day weilding a 6 string axe when Will&Janet came to The Shoals. He took up so much time with me and always made me feel comfortable around him. What a wonderful interview this was. Eventually during Will’s minister days he married my wife and I. Hes one of the 2 reasons I’ve been playing and singing since I was 15. The most important thing he taught me was feel and instinct was more important than Technique. The strumming hand is the most important hand in Weilding the axe.
